See Who a Public Instagram Profile Unfollowed

This shows whom another profile unfollowed, not your own unfollowers

Most people who look for an unfollow tracker want to know who stopped following them. SpySecret does not do that: it never reads your own follower list and cannot produce a list of your unfollowers. What it does is narrower. You pick a public profile, and the check tells you which accounts that profile has stopped following since its list was saved.

That helps when you follow how the network of a public figure, a creator or a club you care about changes, for example which accounts they no longer follow. If a profile you track stops following you, your username shows up in its results too, but only account by account, for profiles you have added.

How the unfollow check works

The first scan of a public profile saves its following list. An unfollow check later loads the current list and compares the two. Accounts that were on the saved list and are missing now are shown as unfollowed.

• Add the public profile by username. No Instagram account or password needed.
• Wait at least a day. A check on the day of the first scan rarely finds anything.
• Start the unfollow check on the profile page and see which accounts dropped off.
• Check again another day. Each check compares against the newest saved list.

What the time next to a result means

Each result shows when the check noticed it. The unfollow happened somewhere between the previous saved state and that check; Instagram does not publish the moment. Check daily and you know the day.

Limits of the unfollow check

We'd rather you know these before you pay:

• Pro only. Basic tracks new follows and new followers, not unfollows.
• Manual. The check runs when you start it. SpySecret has no alert feature.
• Two checks per profile per day in the current version.
• Up to 1,500 follows. Above that the check is not available; new follows and followers are still tracked.
• Public profiles only. If a profile turns private, there is nothing to compare until it is public again.
• No history. Unfollows from before the first saved list are not visible.
• Deleted accounts look like unfollows. A deactivated account also vanishes from the list, so open it before reading much into one result.

Instagram does not notify you when someone unfollows you and has no list of lost followers.
