Is SpySecret Legit?
Yes, SpySecret is a real product with a registered company behind it. It reads data that Instagram shows publicly, lists its prices before checkout, takes payment through Stripe and says plainly what it cannot do. Below are the facts, so you can check them yourself.

SpySecret is operated by Smart Trading AI GmbH, Franzosenhausweg 41, 4030 Linz, Austria, registered at the Regional Court of Linz under company number FN 650520 y. The full details are in our imprint, and you can reach us at info@spy-secret.com.
SpySecret is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Instagram or Meta. More than 100,000 accounts have been registered so far. You won't find star ratings or testimonials on this site, because we only publish statements we can back up.
Why there is no Instagram login
Some security sites name "no login, just enter a username" as a warning sign. That's a fair point, so here is why SpySecret works this way: the following and follower lists of a public profile are visible to anyone, so reading them needs no account. A login would only matter for private content, and SpySecret doesn't offer any.
The real red flags are different. Be careful with any site that:
- asks for your Instagram password or a verification code,
- makes you fill in surveys, download apps or "verify you're human" before showing results,
- promises access to private accounts, profile visitors or other people's messages,
- hides its company name or shows a price only after you've entered card details.
Where the data comes from
SpySecret receives public Instagram data through a specialised third-party data service: usernames, profile pictures, follower and following counts and the public lists. Snapshots are stored on servers in the EU. When a profile switches to private, its lists can no longer be read. How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.
People whose public profile is tracked have rights too. They can ask for the stored data about their profile to be deleted by writing to info@spy-secret.com.
What it costs and how to cancel
The first scan is free. Basic costs €0.99 per week or €2.99 per month, Pro €8.99 per week or €29.99 per month; the pricing page lists what each includes. You pay on spy-secret.com through Stripe, and subscriptions renew until you cancel. Our terms let you cancel at any time in Settings or by email, with access until the end of the paid period.
What SpySecret cannot do
A trustworthy tool tells you where it stops. SpySecret cannot open private accounts and cannot show profile visitors, which accounts stopped following you, online status, likes, comments or DMs. It has no alert feature.
Its results have known limits as well: the time shown is when a scan detected a change, not when it happened; each scan reads the first page of a list; gender tags are estimates from first names; and nothing before the first scan can be reconstructed. How SpySecret works explains the method in detail.
Instagram's terms and your own responsibility
SpySecret reads public data only and doesn't sign in to anyone's account. Whether a specific use is allowed depends on where you live and what you do with it, and we can't give legal advice. Our terms allow personal, non-commercial use and prohibit using SpySecret to harass, stalk, threaten or intimidate anyone.
Public doesn't mean someone expects to be watched closely. Use the tool with the same respect you'd want for your own profile.
