GPS Vehicle Tracking Devices
GPS Vehicle Tracking Systems allow you to monitor your vehicle's every
movement. Knowing how fast your fleet vehicle is going and where they
have been. GPS vehicle tracking systems are more affordable and more popular than
ever before. There are three basic types of GPS vehicle tracking
systems.

GPS vehicle tracking systems are simple to install. The GPS receiver and cellular modem are fitted to the vehicle, a magnet is placed on the underside of the bumper cover, and a magnetic cellular antenna fits onto the vehicle's frame. GPS vehicle tracking systems offer many benefits for cargo management. Shipments are easily located in transit, and stolen goods are easily found. GPS vehicle tracking recorders offer a lower priced system with practically the same features as real time tracking device, or GPS tracker, but with no monthly charges. The only difference between the real time tracking and vehicle tracking recorders is that recorders "record" the data for viewing at another time, while a real time tracking device displays current data right before your eyes.
Some of the older types of GPS vehicle tracking equipment rely on a visible antenna
that can easily be found and broken off by knowledgeable car thieves.
GPS vehicle tracking installation may often require cutting into vehicle wires and electrics, whereas Tractec's vehicle tracking device does not require wire or electrics interference. Where most GPS vehicle tracking devices use battery power off your car's battery or regular batteries that can only last for periods up to 3 months, the Tractecs system has it's own 5 year battery.
